Macbook's correct way to use with External display. (Update 1x)

I had some trouble , before finding out which is the correct way to use a macbook with an external display.So here it is:

For connection:
1) The Macbook Must be on!
2) Connect external keyboard,mouse & diplay.
3)Close the lid so as the macbook goes to sleep.
4) Hit a key from your keyboard or mouse

For disconnection:
1)Open the lid While the Macbook is still ON!
2)Unplug the external diplay & your macbook's screen will turn on!
